About Google AI Pro

Google AI Pro for Education provides advanced AI capabilities for writing, learning, brainstorming, and research. It works within the Google Workspace tools you access with your ScarletApps account and data, including Gmail, Docs, Slides, Sheets, Drive, and Chat.

Important note
• Users who purchase a Google AI Pro subscription must log in with their Rutgers ScarletMail account for proper use.
• PHI and Rutgers business information should not be uploaded to Google AI Pro. Review this chart for additional information.

Advanced Gemini features include premium AI models, higher Deep Research and Audio Overview limits, plus a side panel in ScarletApps products.

NotebookLM Pro offers higher limits, response customization, usage analytics, and sharing controls like “chat-only” mode.

Google Vids supports AI-generated video content using Drive prompts, while Google Meet includes studio look, auto notes, and live captions.

Google AI Pro subscriptions must be purchased by a faculty or staff member. Subscriptions can be assigned to faculty, staff, students, and sponsored guests.
