Tips for faculty

How can I use the Virtual Computer Labs in my classroom?

You can use the Virtual Computer Labs on your device, so students can follow along in class.
Students can access specific software regardless of their device and/or if they’re attending the class in-person or virtually.

When should I reserve the Virtual Computer Labs?

If you need to use the Virtual Computer Labs for all students in your class for simultaneous class instruction, we are in the process of developing a reservation system for faculty to request this service. In the meantime, if you have any questions or requests, please email edm_support@rutgers.edu.
If you have individual students that need to use the Virtual Computer Labs in or out of the classroom, no reservation is needed and they can access regardless of which device they are using.
