IT purchasing and digital accessibility

Accessibility risk assessment for IT purchases

All electronic information technology (EIT) systems, applications, software, and services used by Rutgers University are required to be assessed for accessibility. The Office of Information Technology Accessibility (OITA) will use the information to assess the accessibility risks and provide recommendations.

IT accessibility purchasing process

Purchasers must submit an "accessibility purchasing form" for any item with the commodity code "IT Software." Learn more about the purchasing process and what actions will be taken if there is a high exposure level.
