Network installation
The team provides project design and management services for the university’s Telecommunications Inside Plant (ISP) cable plant.
- Design and install a new ISP cable plant for new construction and renovations, for voice, data, coaxial connections, and fiber
- Telepresence and conference room installations
- Installation of televisions, monitors, and projector systems
- Moves, adds, and changes to existing cabling infrastructure
- ServiceNow—existing port activations and repairs
- Relabeling, documentation, and cleanup of telecommunications closets
Project services and construction management
The team provides coordination and oversight of university telecommunications infrastructure for new construction, renovations, and special events.
- Planning and designing Layer 1 cabling infrastructure
- Supervision and vendor management for telecommunications projects
- Implementation and maintenance of cabling infrastructure
- Manage equipment installations for telecommunications projects throughout the project lifecycle
- Support university events by providing connectivity to event locations
