Academic Working Group
The Academic Working Group will advise on the opportunities and challenges of current and emerging AI technologies in teaching and learning. The group will provide feedback on the selection and implementation of AI-driven tools in instructional settings, contribute to the development of ethical guidelines and policies for the instructional use of AI, curate best-practice resources to enhance AI literacy among faculty, students, and staff, and provide input on approaches to encourage continued innovation. The group’s participants include faculty, instructional design and support staff, IT professionals, and academic administrators. The group will operate on consensus, with oversight and input from the steering committee to ensure alignment with institutional goals. The group’s ongoing work will inform the university’s strategic adoption of AI tools in instruction.
