With the help of these four video tutorials, which are free to Rutgers students, staff, and facultyyou can get the most out of the remote working experience  

Working Remotely (1 hour)

This course is designed to help you get past that stage of feeling out of your element. The key objective is structuring your day correctly and avoiding distractions, while also delving into the cloud-based communication and collaboration tools that help you stay connected to your organization.

Time Management: Working from Home (1 hour, 25 minutes)

Time management skills vary depending on a number of factors, including environment, technology, and schedule. Learn more about honing those to strike a balance between your work and home life while in this remote situation.

Productivity Tips: Finding Your Productive Mindset (59 minutes)

When you change the way you look at your time, you can make a lasting impact on your productivity. Learn more about strategizing your schedule, handling disruptive ideas and unexpected setbacks, and finding meaning in your workday.

Executive Presence on Video Conference Calls (34 minutes)

Video conference calls may have played a role in your workday previously, but they’re now the only face-to-face connection you’ll have with many of your colleagues. This course is designed to help you have an effective experience on the call, providing tips for your presentations, webcam strategy, and more.  You can also learn more about best practices for web conferencing here.
