Free LinkedIn Learning webinars available for faculty, staff, and students

Expanding your skill set is an essential aspect of professional development; however, it’s not always easy to know where to start. Luckily, Rutgers offers free access to LinkedIn Learning, an online learning platform with thousands of video tutorials led by industry professionals.

LinkedIn Learning is offering Rutgers faculty, staff, and students free webinar opportunities that showcase what the platform is, how it can be leveraged, and the variety of features it has to offer the Rutgers community.

Check out the LinkedIn Learning webinar dates below that are specific to each role at Rutgers. If you are interested in attending, you can gain access to the platform by signing in to LinkedIn Learning with your NetID and password and then register for the webinar you are interested in.

Faculty Webinar
Geared towards Rutgers faculty, this webinar will cover what LinkedIn Learning is as well as how it can be used in and out of the classroom. It will also demonstrate various features of the networking site.

Staff Webinars
These webinars for Rutgers staff will feature a demo of the platform and how it can be used for personal and professional development.

  • Wednesday, February 26 @ 1:30 p.m. – Register
  • Tuesday, April 14 @ 12 p.m. – Register

Student Webinars
These webinars will cover how to create a strong profile on LinkedIn and how LinkedIn Learning can help with career growth for students.

Additionally, the Office of Information Technology has a variety of resources to help you get started with LinkedIn, including a “How to Use LinkedIn Learning” course, steps on how to log in for the first time, and documentation of how to connect your LinkedIn profile.
