Thousands of video tutorials available from LinkedIn Learning

The thousands of instructional videos and tutorials previously available from Lynda.com are now accessible through an upgraded platform, LinkedIn Learning.

Rutgers recently transitioned from Lynda.com to LinkedIn Learning. LinkedIn now owns Lynda.com and provides the Rutgers community with the same access to valuable instructional videos through an improved, personalized experience. Course topics include graphic design, business skills, project management, software development, photography, and much more.

LinkedIn Learning will continue to be a free resource for faculty, students and staff. Everyone who previously had a Lynda.com account with Rutgers was automatically moved to LinkedIn Learning on August 19.

Some new features of LinkedIn Learning include:

  • Improved interface so users can find and view content quicker and easier.
  • Unlimited access to all of LinkedIn Learning’s services, with new content being added weekly.
  • Ability to connect your LinkedIn Learning account to your LinkedIn profile to get personalized course recommendations based on the skills listed on your profile, skills you’re interested in, or what’s popular for your current role.
  • Social curation that can search for trending content and seek out videos with the most likes.
