Rutgers Active Directory Committee

NOTE: The Rutgers Active Directory committee completed the initial project charter in 2022. A separate committee was formed to provide a forum for the ongoing governance and direction of the service.

Committee Charter

This committee provides ongoing strategic direction and oversight for the Rutgers Active Directory (RAD) initiative. The committee develops a vision for RAD and works with others at the university to implement that vision. These efforts include improving awareness and understanding of RAD, enhancing RAD and RAD-managed services, advising on deployment and onboarding strategies and practices, and providing advice and coordination for the integration of additional services with RAD. The committee works to facilitate interoperability between RAD and various services, such as Papercut print management, KACE enterprise desktop management, virus protection, authentication/authorization, and enterprise storage.
