Issues with Rutgers Connect on mobile devices

Users who have lost access to Rutgers Connect on their mobile devices will need to add Rutgers Connect to those devices. To do so, users should open the Intune Company Portal app on their devices and follow the prompts.

When following those instructions, please note that some steps may vary depending on your device and previous set-up.

The root cause of this incident remains under investigation, but current evidence indicates that it was due to an error in a scheduled technical maintenance task. OIT continues to investigate the cause.

Technical teams within the Office of Information Technology are actively investigating the issues with mobile devices and Rutgers Connect (Microsoft 365). The issue is apparently affecting both Android and iOS devices. Some users are reporting that they have lost access to email, calendar, and contacts on these devices. Please note that users should be able to access their Rutgers Connect email, calendars, and contacts through the web at https://connect.rutgers.edu.

Users are reporting that Rutgers Connect (Microsoft 365) email and calendars are no longer available on their iPhones and other iOS devices, even if previously available. The Office of Information Technology is investigating.
