Issues with Canvas

The issues with Canvas and related services have been resolved. If you continue to experience issues, please contact the OIT Help Desk.

The issues with Canvas have been resolved, and students should have access to their courses within Canvas. Some related issues are still being investigated, including issues with the Rosters and Electronic Grading Information System (REGIS) and with student transcripts. OIT expects those issues to be fixed by tomorrow morning and will provide an update then. Once again, we appreciate your patience as we have worked to address these issues.

Most students should now be able to access their courses in Canvas, following technical fixes and updates implemented by the Office of Information Technology. Note that instructors may be seeing discrepancies in the information in the Rosters and Electronic Grading Information System (REGIS). OIT teams continue to work toward a full resolution of this issue.

OIT teams are working to restore the ability for students to view their courses in Canvas. Some students may now be able to access their courses. Work continues to provide a solution and address any underlying issues.

OIT staff are working to identify the issues with Canvas and implement a fix. Note that instructors may currently be unable to view students within courses, grade assignments, or perform other tasks in Canvas.

Rutgers students may be unable to access Canvas courses due to an issue with Canvas. Instructure (the parent company for Canvas) is aware of the issue and working on a fix with staff from the Office of Information Technology. We appreciate your patience as we address this issue.
