Account deletion emails sent in error

The individuals affected in this incident have been notified by email with the correct information for their accounts.

A number of Rutgers students, former students, or alumni were sent email messages in error earlier this week notifying them that various Rutgers accounts (Microsoft Office for Students, ScarletApps, Zoom, and Webex) were scheduled for deletion soon.

The Office of Information Technology regrets this error, and OIT is working to send out follow-up emails to students with the correct information and dates, if applicable.

Note that a variety of Rutgers accounts are regularly scheduled for deletion once a student leaves the university.
