New Microsoft vulnerability disrupts printing at Rutgers

Microsoft has released a patch for the vulnerability. The patch is being applied to the relevant print servers and workstations.

Printing remains unavailable at Rutgers virtual computer labs due to a vulnerability in Microsoft Windows software. Microsoft has not released a solution to remedy this issue. OIT is monitoring the situation and will provide additional details when available.

Printing has been disabled from the Rutgers virtual computer labs due to a new vulnerability discovered in Microsoft Windows software. Printing may also be unavailable in other locations as IT staff members assess the situation and determine how to address this latest Microsoft security issue.
