OIT migrating services to new network configuration

As part of an ongoing initiative to improve the resiliency of enterprise IT services, the Office of Information Technology will be migrating a number of services to use a new network configuration. This migration will take place on Sunday, July 12, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The migration is expected to be transparent, but there is a chance that re-authentication may be needed during or after the migration window.

The following services are in scope of this maintenance:

  • Central Authentication System (CAS)
  • Federated Identity System (Shibboleth)
  • CommunityID Authentication and Registration System (used by the myGuest parent portal)
  • myRutgers portal
