Rutgers will update to the latest version of Zoom on Thursday, June 18, at 10 p.m. This update features:
- Translated captions available to departmental accounts
- Zoom Webinar Plus, which adds breakout rooms to webinars and incorporates the green room feature, creating a private staging area that’s separate from the main webinar. Zoom Webinar Plus can be accessed from the Bookings page.
- Zoom Hub, including automatic sign-in when joining meetings from a web browser
- New Zoom Chat tools

Following June 18 update, users who are not currently running the latest version will experience a short pause to install the newest version of Zoom before joining their next meeting.
