Qualtrics onboarding office hours

Aug. 11: 9 – 9:30 a.m.

During this streamlined support session, new Qualtrics users will have the ability to learn at their own pace by watching two on-demand training videos, while also accessing a 30-minute live Q&A session.

REDCap 101

Aug 12: 11 a.m. – noon

Join the Office of Advanced Research Computing for an introduction to REDCap workshop that’s designed for new or novice users. During this hands-on session, OARC will guide you through essential terminology, Rutgers REDCap access, the basics of project creation using forms or surveys, and best practice recommendations. No REDCap experience is expected.

Get started with Microsoft 365 Copilot

Aug. 18: 4 – 5 p.m.

Learn how to use Microsoft 365 Copilot within your Office365 tools, like Word, PowerPoint and Outlook during this Microsoft-offered training. You’ll explore using how to generate concise summaries of communications, get Teams meeting recaps, and more.

REDCap Intermediate Topics

Aug 19: 11 a.m. – noon

Explore more advanced REDCap processes and features with the Office of Advanced Research computing. Topics will include longitudinal events, repeating instruments, smart variables, embedding fields, alerts and notifications, and advanced survey options. Some basic REDCap knowledge is expected.

    Aug. 4: 2 – 3 p.m.

    PDFs are widely recognized, used around the world, and are often considered a standard for presenting electronic versions of text. PDFs are also very rigid, which can make them tricky to navigate for users with disabilities. Learn about common problems with inaccessible PDFs, how to fix them, and the finer points of making PDFs accessible.
