Esri ArcGIS is a geographic information system (GIS) software platform. GIS is used primarily to analyze spatial and locational data. The Esri ArcGIS platform offers both traditional desktop applications as well as cloud based tools.
Using Esri ArcGIS
- Rutgers has purchased a universitywide license for Esri ArcGIS.
- It is free to all faculty, students and staff for academic use.
- Licenses are available for administrative use.
