The Rutgers Automated Mass-Mailing Service (RAMS), a service for emailing groups at Rutgers, and Rutgers Account Tools and Services (RATS), a collection of tools for making account changes, are currently limited to use through the Rutgers VPN or on campus due to a security issue with underlying software.

If you are having trouble accessing RAMS or other tools, please connect through the Rutgers Virtual Private Network (VPN).

RATS includes tools for creating new accounts for some Rutgers services, such as Rutgers Connect, ScarletMail, Box, Zoom, Webex, Adobe Creative Cloud, and others. If you have trouble with account creation or account changes, please try via the Rutgers VPN or reach out for assistance to the Office of Information Technology Help Desk.

If you are experiencing any issues not listed here, please contact the OIT Help Desk at 848-445-HELP (4357) or send a message to help@oit.rutgers.edu.
