AirDrop makes it easy to share photos and other files on Apple devices, but it can also leave your device open to receiving unsolicited materials.

To avoid that, you can adjust the settings to ensure that you don’t become the unwitting victim of an unsolicited AirDrop share. Whenever possible, it should be either turned off completely or limited to receiving AirDrop files only from your contacts.
