NOTE: The committee issued its recommendations on Enterprise Cloud Strategy [PDF] in December 2017 and reported back to the ITLC and the CIO. The Cloud Infrastructure Group was formed under Enterprise Infrastructure in order to start implementing these recommendations. Their work can be found on the Cloud computing webpage.
SaaS is within itself a major area. In order to remain focused, we are only working on Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) and some types of Platform as a Service (PaaS). The Software licensing committee will be working on SaaS.

Our goal is not to interfere, but to assist and help make the process easier in the long term. If you have a well developed cloud implementation already, we will work with you and the vendor to avoid disruption of a contract or billing method is changed for the university as a whole.
