Monitoring
This morning’s work to fix the issues with Rutgers wireless services has been completed. This work was successful, and OIT will be monitoring wireless services to ensure the issue is fully resolved.
Update
From 5 a.m. to 7 a.m. on Wednesday, September 4, the Office of Information Technology will be making configuration changes to Rutgers wireless services to address issues with service scalability. During this period, devices on RUWireless Secure and other Wi-Fi services at the university, such as eduroam, may experience intermittent wireless service. These changes are necessary to address today’s issues with wireless, which were caused by a software incompatibility issue that resulted in problems increasing service capacity. We will provide additional information when these changes are completed.
Update
Rutgers technical teams are working to fix today’s issues with RUWireless. OIT has taken steps to mitigate the earlier issues, but some users may continue to experience intermittent access problems. We will provide additional updates when available.
Update
The Office of Information Technology is working to resolve the remaining intermittent issues accessing the RUWireless and RUWireless Secure networks.
Investigating
