The Office of Information Technology has been working with units that were impacted by the CrowdStrike global outage earlier today. Approximately 62 devices were impacted across all of Rutgers. We are happy to report that all of the technical issues have been addressed at this time and those devices are currently back in working order. Investigating

A global technology outage today is disrupting multiple industries, including airlines and other institutions. The issue was caused by an update issued by Crowdstrike, a cybersecurity firm. It is not a cybersecurity incident. Some university systems may be impacted by this outage. The Office of Information Technology will share additional information as the situation develops.
