Rutgers services unavailable due to database issues

The main Rutgers systems affected by this morning’s database issues have been restored and are now operational. This includes Employee Self-Service (PeopleSoft) and Banner (student information systems for Rutgers Health schools). OIT will continue to monitor the situation and work on addressing any back-end technical work related to the issues. If you encounter issues or have questions, please reach out to the Office of Information Technology Help Desk.

Technical teams have restored most of the systems that were unavailable due to this morning’s outage, including Degree Navigator and OneStop. Banner and PeopleSoft are still unavailable, and teams are currently working on a solution for those systems.

  • Student financial and administrative systems, such as Transcript, Term Bill, Rosters, and Web Registration
  • PeopleSoft
  • Admissions
  • Libraries
