Accessibility training available with Deque axe Monitor on March 9

The Office of IT Accessibility (OITA) is pleased to announce the first-ever Deque axe Monitor training and workshop for Rutgers faculty, staff, and students on Tuesday, March 9 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.mDeque Systems will be leading the comprehensive workshop and training session for any interested Rutgers individuals. 

What is Deque axe Monitor?
Axe Monitor (formerly WorldSpace Comply) is the industry-level auditing tool used by many IT professionals and developers at Rutgers to identify and address accessibility issues in web content and applications.  

What will the training entail? 

The training will feature a two-hour basic training highlighting prominent features within Axe Monitor followed by a one-hour advanced training exploring more tools and capabilities. Current users and individuals interested in learning more about Axe Monitor are encouraged to attend both sessions.  

Participants are also encouraged to come with questions as the training will be interactive. If you cannot attend the training and have questions that you’d like to be answered, please submit them to accessibility@rutgers.edu before March 9.
