Linking to external knowledge base or FAQ pages

In addition to creating your own how-to articles or FAQ pages, you can link to external how-to articles, for example those housed on vendor sites such as Box, WebEx, MicroSoft, etc. The link to the external article will appear on your subsite’s knowledge base landing page (it.rutgers.edu/subsite/knowledgebase) with an icon to show the item is external.

To link to an external KB article or FAQ:

  1. Check off the “Is External Resource” option.screenshot

2. Add a title.

5. Publish.
