SaaS is within itself a major area. In order to remain focused, we are only working on Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) and some types of Platform as a Service (PaaS). The Software licensing committee will be working on SaaS.Link to this Answer

Yes, we encourage anyone entering into agreements and in the process of implementing a Cloud strategy to contact our committee so we can at least understand your needs. Our goal is not to interfere, but to assist and help make the process easier in the long term. If you have a well developed cloud implementation already, we will work with you and the vendor to avoid disruption of a contract or billing method is changed for the university as a whole.Link to this Answer
