Zoom client update on Thursday, November 10

On Thursday, November 10 at 10 p.m., Rutgers will be updating to the latest client version of Zoom. This update includes the following changes:

  • Enhancements to the event moderator roles and permissions
  • Set reminders to prompt users to join event
  • Please note: An updated Zoom version will be released on Nov 8th (at Zoomtopia) and we will be using that version as the new floor
  • Security enhancements

Following the update on November 10, users who are not currently running the latest client version will experience a short pause (1-2 minutes) to install the newest version of Zoom before joining their next meeting.
