On Thursday, July 15 at 10:00 p.m., Rutgers will be upgrading to the latest client version of Zoom. This update includes the following changes:
- Support for gender pronouns
- Request Live Transcription enablement as participant
- Share screen to all Breakout Rooms
- Security enhancements
This will roll the 5.7.0 and 5.7.1 updates into one addressing additional features and security.
Following the upgrade on July 15, users who are not currently running the latest client version will experience a short pause (1-2 minutes) to install the new version of Zoom before joining their next meeting.
