The issues with onboarding for RUWireless and RUWireless Secure have been resolved.
Identified
Issues with load-balancing systems related to onboarding for RUWireless and RUWireless Secure have been identified as the source of the problems with connecting new devices. OIT is working with external vendors to remedy the problems.
Update
Users seeking to set up new devices with RUWireless Secure may call the Help Desk for assistance at 848-445-HELP.
Investigating
Users trying to connect new devices to the RUWireless or RUWireless Secure networks may experience problems due to a service outage.
Additionally, Rutgers guest users may not be able to connect.
The Office of Information Technology is investigating the issue and will provide an update when more information is available.
