On Saturday, July 12, at 10 p.m., Rutgers will be updating to the latest version of Zoom. In addition to essential security updates, this release offers users the ability to move participants from the waiting room to breakout rooms, display emoji reactions more prominently across meeting screens, and a variety of other new or upgraded features.

Following the update on July 12, users who are not currently running the latest version will experience a short pause to install the newest version of Zoom before joining their next meeting. For reference, the full patch notes can be found on the Zoom support page.
