Zoom client update on Thursday, June 9

On Thursday, June 9 at 10 p.m., Rutgers will be updating to the latest client version of Zoom. This update includes the following changes:

  • Change to panelist visibility of Q&A before they joined
  • Control participant names in local recordings
  • Additional MSI/PLIST/GPO options
  • Security enhancements

Following the update on June 9, users who are not currently running the latest client version will experience a short pause (1-2 minutes) to install the newest version of Zoom before joining their next meeting.
