Computer Standards
The Rutgers IT Computer Standards program provides a common set of standards for buying desktop computers, notebooks, tablets, displays, and other devices for faculty and staff. The program is designed to lower hardware costs, maximize interoperability, and lead to efficiencies in technical support. In addition, the Office of Information Technology has established equipment guidelines for hybrid employees, focusing on “mobile-first” solutions that will assist employees in having access to the technology necessary to perform their jobs successfully regardless of work location.
