Zoom client update on Thursday, September 8

On Thursday, September 8 at 10 p.m., Rutgers will be updating to the latest client version of Zoom. This update includes the following changes:

  • Enhanced access to cloud recordings
  • Broadcast mic audio to all breakout rooms
  • Resolved an issue regarding lag when joining a meeting
  • Security enhancements

Following the update on  September 8, users who are not currently running the latest client version will experience a short pause (1-2 minutes) to install the newest version of Zoom before joining their next meeting.
