RU–Newark IT Help Desk staff offering on-site tech help for students during move-in day

The weather cools down, the leaves start to turn, and you feel a renewed energy fall upon campus – the fall semester is about to begin. The RU–Newark IT Help Desk staff is excited to welcome new and returning students this year and will be available at Woodward Hall on Saturday, September 2 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. to provide tech support to those who are moving into their dorm rooms.

“The dedicated team of IT staff is ready to help students during move-in have a seamless tech transition before classes begin,” says Kevin Cordeiro, a user support services specialist at RU–Newark IT. “On-site support will range from showing students how to register their devices, guiding them on how to use ports in their dorm rooms, troubleshooting connectivity issues, and assisting with any other needs they may have during move-in day.”

The RU–Newark IT Help Desk is committed to providing ongoing support to students all semester long to support their academic success.
