Our Virtual Labs use Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD). It offers several key benefits:
Students, faculty, staff, and individuals with a guest role can utilize the OIT virtual computer lab's PCs and all Windows applications provided from any location at any time. However, guests will need to have their sponsor request a Rutgers Connect license before they can access the Virtual Labs.

There are several ways to connect to WVD, depending on your device. We suggest using the web client for ease and convenience. You can find instructions below:
Azure Virtual Desktop has access to the Mobility print queue, which enables you to print a job from your session and release the print job at any Papercut enabled print release station:
To print a file from Azure Virtual Desktop to your local computer, follow the steps below.
To save files, you will need to upload them to a cloud storage solution, as remote file saving is disabled.
We suggest that you save their files to OneDrive, part of your Rutgers Connect account. Box and your files in ScarletApps are also available.
