You are strongly encouraged to enroll using your mobile devices such as smartphone and tablet. If you have enrolled using your mobile device, please note that you can use Duo Mobile Passcode authentication without the need to use physical hardware tokens. Please read instructions on the Duo Mobile Passcodes page. If you must use a hardware token, follow the instructions below.
To request a hardware token, please visit the Rutgers Software Portal using the appropriate link below:
Your delivery options are USPS to your home address or Pickup at the Help Desk. Once your order is processed you will be notified that your order has been shipped or is ready for pick up.
If you are picking up your token, please visit an OIT Help Desk at the address below during their normal operating hours:

Please tell the front desk you are picking up a hardware token ordered through the Software Portal. Make sure to bring your RUID or Driver’s License for identification purposes. If you are unable to pick up your token on campus, please contact the OIT Help Desk at 833-OIT-HELP (648-4357).
After enrolling the token you can use it to authenticate on the two-step login with Duo prompt.
