Before attempting to configure Android for ScarletMail, be sure you have activated your ScarletMail account. 

1. Open the Settings app for your device. 
2. Click on Accounts.
3. Choose Add account.
4. Choose Google.
5. Type your ScarletMail email address in the format of netid@scarletmail.rutgers.edu and then tap Next.
6. You will be prompted with a message from Google stating that your account is managed by Rutgers. Click Accept.
7. Type in your NetID and NetID password, and then select LOGIN.
8. You can now access your ScarletMail by using the Gmail app on your device.
