How do I access my ScarletMail account and all the ScarletApps services?


Make sure you have already activated your ScarletMail account on the Services Activation page.

To access ScarletMail via a web browser, go to Gmail and login with your netid@scarletmail.rutgers.edu address. It will then prompt you to login with your NetID and NetID password

Most alternate email clients support logging into ScarletMail similarly to any other email. For detailed instructions on how to setup your preferred email client, refer to the list of available desktop clients

To protect Rutgers students, we require a separate password for access to ScarletApps for non-browser-based services that do not support the most up to date standards. This password is referred to as your ScarletApps Mobile/IMAP/POP Password. View the article on how to create or change your ScarletApps Mobile/IMAP/POP password if you forgot it or need to change it.
