These instructions will walk through the process of setting up Microsoft Office Rutgers Connect.
Open up Outlook. If this is the first time you are setting up Outlook you will see the above picture. Click Next.
If you have set up Outlook before, click on File and select Add Account.
If this is the first time you have set up Outlook you will see the above screen. Select Yes and then click Next.
Fill out the following information:
- Name: Your Name
- Email Address Field: Please enter your Sign In address. This will be in the format of email@example.com. If you would like confirmation on what your Rutgers Connect sign-in information is, please visit the Manage Email address page at https://netid.rutgers.edu. Your sign in name can be found in the Rutgers Connect Account Information section.
- Password: Your Rutgers NetID password
Outlook will connect to the system and download all of the configuration settings. You may be asked to confirm your Email and Password again. Click Finish and you will be connected to Rutgers Connect.
