Our main locations (Loree, Rutgers Academic Building, Allison Road Classroom, and Tillett) have computers that dual-boot \u2014 i.e., they have both Windows 10 and macOS \u2014 giving individuals the luxury of choosing their desired operating system without switching computers.<\/p>\n<p><strong>How the service might be used:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Available lab software includes:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Productivity software (e.g., Microsoft Office 2016 Suite, Adobe Creative Suite 6, etc.)<\/li>\n<li>Communication software (various internet browsers, file transfer programs, and instant messaging applications, etc.)<\/li>\n<li>Multimedia software (audio software, video players, imaging software, etc.)<\/li>\n<li>Various utilities (CD\/DVD creators, file compression applications, etc\u2026)<\/li>\n<li>Course-specific software (e.g., ArcGIS, Maple, MatLab, Mathematics, NetBeans, SPSS, etc.)<\/li>\n<li>ADA Adaptive Software (e.g. JAWS, Kurzweil 3000, etc.)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>For a full list of our current available software, please visit our\u00a0<a href=\"\/new-brunswick\/standard-operating-environment-at-rutgers-new-brunswick-computer-labs\/\">standard operating environment<\/a>\u00a0page.<\/p>\n<p><strong>How to request this service:<\/strong><br \/>\nRutgers students, faculty, staff, and guests with valid NetIDs can access the wide range of available lab software simply by logging in to any of the lab computers.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Availability:<\/strong><br \/>\nLab software is available during all times that the computer labs are open and operating.
