RU\u2013Camden IT exam scanner<\/h2>\n \n

The exam scanner is located in the\u00a0Rutgers Student Computer Lab<\/a>. Faculty members may reserve the scanner for grading. If you need help, the Information Technology Help Desk is in the Rutgers Student Computer Lab. Staff members are available during\u00a0regular operating hours.<\/a>\u00a0Or you can email\u00a0help@camden.rutgers.edu<\/a>\u00a0or call 856-225-6274.<\/p>\n <\/div>\n \n <\/div>\n\n

\n ScanMark iNSIGHT 4ES Information <\/h3>\n <\/div>\n \n \n\n
\n

The ScanMark iNSIGHT 4ES is a multiple-choice test scanner used by faculty to grade tests. Below you will find information on how to use the scanner hardware, fill out the forms, and also information on two different scoring programs, ParScore and QuickScore. ParScore is a more robust package with many features including a gradebook to keep track of the results of all tests. QuickScore is a simpler package to quickly scan in and score a single test.<\/p>\n <\/div>\n\n <\/div>\n\n <\/div>\n

\n Reserving the Scanner <\/h3>\n <\/div>\n \n \n\n
\n

View the\u00a0scanner reservation calendar<\/a>\u00a0to check current availability. Schedule through\u00a0scanner-reserve-people@camden.rutgers.edu<\/a>. For assistance, call the Help Desk at 856-225-6274, extension 6274.<\/p>\n

The scanner reservation calendar is hosted on the Rutgers Connect cloud service. Do not bookmark the calendar itself, as its exact URL may change over time.<\/p>\n <\/div>\n\n <\/div>\n\n <\/div>\n

\n How do I get the ParScore software installed? <\/h3>\n <\/div>\n \n \n\n
\n

Installing the ParScore client software on your office computer allows you to access any tests you scanned into the system and modify the data or print reports from your office.<\/p>\n

Because administrative privileges on your office computer are required for software installation, the easiest way to get ParScore installed is to contact Help Desk and request assistance with installation. RU-Camden IT can install it for you.<\/p>\n <\/div>\n\n <\/div>\n\n <\/div>\n

\n Can RU\u2013Camden IT run the exam scanner for me? <\/h3>\n <\/div>\n \n \n\n
\n

No, but you can arrange for a teaching or administrative assistant to use it on your behalf. It is your responsibility, however, to make sure they have been trained to use the exam scanner.<\/p>\n <\/div>\n\n <\/div>\n\n <\/div>\n \n \n <\/div>\n\n <\/div>\n\n<\/div>\n\n <\/section>\n\n\n
