Zoom client upgrade on Thursday, October 14

On Thursday, October 14 at 10:00 p.m., Rutgers will be upgrading to the latest client version of Zoom. This update includes the following changes:

  • Poll access for alternative hosts
  • Stop incoming video
  • Participant attendance status
  • Security enhancements

Following the upgrade on October 14, users who are not currently running the latest client version will experience a short pause (1-2 minutes) to install the new version of Zoom before joining their next meeting.
