On Thursday, August 11 at 10 p.m., Rutgers will be updating to the latest client version of Zoom. This update includes the following changes:
- Support for preventing external users from saving in-meeting/webinar chats
- Speaker attribution included in downloaded transcript
- Resolved an issue for a subset of users with AMD processors regarding video freezing when using a virtual background
- Security enhancements
Following the update on August 11, users who are not currently running the latest client version will experience a short pause (1-2 minutes) to install the newest version of Zoom before joining their next meeting.
