The frequency of Zoom updates for Rutgers will be changing.

Previously, Zoom updates occurred on a monthly basis. Following each monthly update, users who were not currently running the latest client version experienced a short pause (1-2 minutes) to install the new version of Zoom before joining their next meeting.

Moving forward, the Zoom updates that were once monthly will now only be forced 1-2 times a year during school breaks (i.e., around January and in July if needed), although the Zoom platform can still push other updates throughout the year if a security issue or a major release occurs.
