Monitoring
ServiceNow reports that users should now be able to access ServiceNow at Rutgers (the Rutgers IT Help portal, OneSource, and other services), although the issues are not fully resolved. ServiceNow reports that they “continue to troubleshoot internally to fully mitigate this event.” OIT will provide additional details when available.
Identified
ServiceNow has identified an issue with a regional Internet Service Provider (ISP) as the possible source of the problems accessing ServiceNow. ServiceNow is determining options to take corrective action and fix the problem. At this time, ServiceNow reports that they do not have an estimated time when the issue will be resolved.
Update
ServiceNow has acknowledged the issues with the service. These issues are not limited to Rutgers, and ServiceNow reports that they are working to diagnose and fix the problems. OIT will provide updates when available.
Investigating
Users are reporting issues accessing the ServiceNow system used for the Rutgers IT Help portal, OneSource, and other Rutgers systems for HR requests, IT help requests, and other services. The Office of Information Technology is investigating.
